HOAs are traditionally run by volunteers, who may or may not fully understand all of the obligations that they have assumed. As such, HOA Boards can materially benefit form DR’s services by obtaining a recommendation as to suggested guidance on a decision confronting the board. A recommendation to perform or not perform a decision of a board of directors brings independent review, reasoning for a decision and may be shared with the home owners. The perception of independent review can positively enhance the perception of home owners with respect to actions, sometimes unpopular actions, taken by a board of director.
